I have seen a few posts regarding bad experience landing at Carway, Alberta. I landed there and want to let you know that our landing was not bad.
0. My wife and I drove there Sunday from Calgary. We expected to have a lot of people as it was a long weekend. There was lineup at the US border but not too bad;
1. We told the officer at US border we were here for landing. He only took our passports and let us go to the waiting room;
2. We received our passports and refusal letters in a few minutes in the waiting room;
3. We drove back to the Canadian side and were told to go to a waiting room with a yellow paper ;
4. The waiting time was longer in this waiting room but in 15 minutes;
5. We were called by the officer to sign on the CoPR, all done.
The total time spent was in 30-45 minutes or so and I didn't hear any complaints from the officers. The officers were not smiling but not grouchy either. I would say it was a good experience landing there.
