1. Well Etobicoke and Mississauga have the longest wait of the CICs in Canada (They are the busiest.) Phone call the call centre -1888 242-2100 and ask what is the wait.

i already called the Call center and told me it's 6-8 weeks.I'm not so sure if that's true.I'm really worried because i really need to go home by November 28.

One more question,if in case I have the final interview one of these days but don't have the PR card yet, could I travel?.Could a travel document be valid to re-enter canada? Please advise.thanks!

Hi, I will be landing on 18th of October 2009, as per information available i should get my PR Card in 4 weeks. I am bit confused after reading the above post , is there any interview requirement for Landing and PR Card ? Can any one tell me timeframe for PR Card as i will be leaving canada on 22nd of November.

Will appreciate your cooperation.

Thanks

Right now, PR cards are taking about 8 weeks for the initial one.
