Once I do my landing I plan to return to the state to tie up lose ends will they send me my PR
card to address in the state or does have to go where I plan on staying in Canada
when I return.

Just receive my Visa. sent passport to Buffalo today. waited a long time
for this process to be completed..very happy

Do you have to provide the address right when you land? I'm thinking of getting someone to rent me a post office box because the mailbox where we'll likely end up initially isn't secured in any way—they just come up and drop mail into it. And I'd rather not leave the PR card to chance.

1. CIC won't send it to a PO Box.
2. You have 6 months to give a permanent address for the PR card, then you have to apply for a new PR card.

I was afraid of that. I guess I'll have to take my chances.
