Landing - Airport Experience

Hi Guys and Gals,

Can anyone share your experiences on Landing - Airport Experience.

I mean after come out from the flight what one have to do, such as which counter to follow, what are the questions they (IO) might ask, etc etc.

Each an every steps please?? until you come out the immigration.

Me and my family did'nt see any thing difficult to overcome the landing procedures in Canada. It is almost like any immigration formalities. There is a seperate line for the 'new immigrants'. Stand in that line ones you land. Give the form duly filled, which you got from the flight to the customs officer and answer few questions about you baggage, contents or whereabouts. If you have un-accompanied cargo shipment of personal effects show the list Form B4 and get it stamped by the officer. After that you can go to a seperate immigration counter for new immigrants. There is a big board placed, which can be easily noticed. There are Immigration officers waiting to receive you. Just give your passport(s) and CPR. He/she may ask few introductory questions, which are quite normal. Then he/she will ask you to sign the CPR. You will get a copy of it ( your PR card will be mailed within 6 weeks to the given address). If you plan to change the given address in CPR you can ask to do it there. After that at another counter you will get some brochures and pamphlets about Canada life.

Very good way of narrating event. How about tranferable fund, did they ask to see it or counted it in your presence?
Also, were passports photograph submitted at the port?
