You cannot continue working after the PGWP expires and this work permit cannot be extended. If you wish to continue working, your employer will have to obtain an approved Labour Market Opinion and you must then apply for a closed work permit. You can only start working again once the closed work permit has been approved.
Instead, you could change your status to visitor (you won't be allowed to work but you will be able to remain in Canada).
