Hy to everyone , I need some advise , please help me .

I'm a landed immigrant in Toronto and I need to go back to Europe not for a long time: I remember that when I was coming to Toronto with a simple tourist visa some years ago I had often to go to immigration ( I think because I was coming often ) and there they made me all kind of questions and often they were very rude ...

My question is : when I reenter as a landet immigrant how that it works ??? What do they ask ????
What do I need to have with me ????

And can that give me problems with my status as a landet immigrant ???

I thank you in advance for your answers

When you are a permanent resident, you need your PR card to return to Canada. The customs officers will ask you how long you were gone, what did you do, did you have fun. It's more like a friendly chat, at least when I have been coming back.

Beware that as a PR, you can only be gone total 1095 days (3 years) in each 5 year period. If they suspect that you have been gone so long that you have forfeited your PR status, they can give you a month to prove that you actually live in Canada or at least that you have not been gone more than then 1095 days. Otherwise you can lose your PR.

Is there someone else with other experiences when they returned ??????

tell me please !!!!

Thanks in advance
