LANDED!

Well, it finally happened - my daughter and I are officially permanent residents of Canada!! We drove down to the border today, left Canada for the first time in almost 4 and a half years, and came back in to have our paperwork processed for landing. The happy ending to a very long journey. I am so thankful for all of the help, support and encouragement I found here. Our immigration journey is over, but I hope to stick around here to pay it forward.

Aww so very VERY happy for you RobsLuv. I have been wondering when you would officially land. What was your experience like and did it feel surreal? Have you celebrated? You are such a well deserved person of this for going through all you did and pushing through. And the help and advice you give to us all is never unappreciated. You have saved so many of us from trouble down the line. Thank goodness you won't have to deal with anymore. Only thing left to do is wait to be a citizen. Do you plan on visiting the US? What is the first thing you want to do now that you are a PR?
