Thank you friends for your good wishes. really appreciate that....

Just to let u all know that I have found a rented accomodation in brampton Nr. Bovaird Road, Nr. Trinity Mall. It a newly constructed basement. (very airy though) fully furnished (except for the bed and mattress) inclusive of dinning table, sofas, fridge, TV with cable and indian channels too, fully equipped kitchen. importantly, no advance rent(s). (cherry on the cake)

Got the sin no. today and now gona activate my scotia bank account which I opened up from India (thanks to captain dutta) and apply for the health card.

WHAT I DISCOVERED ON THE VERY FIRST DAY : Canada is such a country where car is inevitable, (its more of a necessity than a luxury here) bus services are there but cold weather makes you feel that you are waiting for the ages to get your bus. frequency is not so good this is what I feel (I have lived in london for a year. Probably this is the reason why I am not so happy about the bus services. Coz in london transportation system is simply awesome and very very easy to understand.)

Question REGARDING MOBILE PHONE : Apart from wind as advised by most of the members, I have also found CHAT R which uses ROGER's tower. I end up virtually paying 15 CAD pm (plus 49 CAD for the phone) if I pay by credit card. Any ideas about CHAR R ??? please share.

Regards Danny

Thats wonderful info Danny...would love to c more of you...keep sharing your experiences...
