Has anybody else had any luck in getting government experience recognized? I was made redundant and have a letter with salary, employment dates and job titles. I have offer letters and the original job advertisements. I have some payslips and mat leave requests with dates. I also have publications from my unit which are freely available from a Google search on which I am the first author and clearly demonstrate
that I worked in a statistics unit and align with the job duties of my chosen NOC. Any chance to get this recognized? My ex-supervisor is only allowed to be listed as a telephone referee. I have a HR letter attesting to their refusal for anything additional.

You can draft a letter with duties and responsibilities and get it signed by an ex-colleague/ex-supervisor, provide their contact details.

Include everything in PDF - Experience letter, HR letter attesting to their refusal for anything additional , and your drafted letter with duties and responsibilities.

Explain everything in LOE.

If you have claimed points for this work experience, Duties and responsibilities must be included in that work experience letter/reference letter. Otherwise you will get a refusal.

Best of luck.
