Knee Replacement Surgery done after receiving PR

Hi

Just want to check if someone has received their PR under family class, and has undergone a knee replacement surgery after receiving PR but before entering Canada, does he need to inform IRCc about it before coming to Canada?

Please respond asap as the client has already booked the seats for the flight to Canada.

The client is fine and walks long distances comfortably with a stick/cane and short distances without a cane
