Hi,

The 1000 Cap is for 1yr starting from July to June - It is based on first come basis, if you apply and CAP is already full then they will return your application and you will have to apply again next yr. Its better to apply ASAP to get place in 1000. If you have all documents or most of the docs ready apply now otherwise wait for next yr.

Cheers
Saki

you should apply without wait.

It needs lot of documentation - may take atleast 15 days to one month time to collect. The good thing for you is, the rules changed only on 26 June 10. No one was having the required documents in hand. People are collecting and sending their applications. Still every one hopes that 1000 CAPS per NOC would be open.

This forum has number of experts to help you without any fee or perosnal interest.

No one knows what the rules would be from the very next moment so please do not wait for next year

Dear canxyz,
I am also a dentist from Bangladesh and planning to apply this September. It is true that we have 1000 cap limit.I believe if u can apply within September/october 2010 then u can get your application processed. "Dentist"(NOC code:3113) was not not in the list for the last 1.5 years. Since it is new in the list, Dentsits all over the world couldnt get the chance to prepare all the documents beforehand. Besides, according to new rules your GT IELTS result(Academic ILETS will not be accepted)has to be no more than 1 year old. These obligations will delay Dentists to file in their application to CIO.So dont worry, just apply ASAP. Pls join our thread which is only for dentists and share your problems, information etc.The link
