Dear forum members

I wanted to know what is the minimum age that a child can be accepted for kindergarten program.

Here:
http://www.albertacanada.com/immigration/living/education-schools.aspx

It says that it is for children under 6 years:
"Kindergarten

Kindergarten is an educational program for children who are under six years of age as of September 1. Most children enter Kindergarten one year before starting Grade 1. You are able to decide if your children will attend."

Is there any program that accepts children above 2 or 2 and a half years?

A child that is 2 or 2 and a half is far too young to be accepted into kindergarten. Children start at around 4.

At 2 or 2 and a half, you would be looking for a pre-school or day care.

I tried to find pre-school institutions but most of them offer couple of ours daily services.
Is there any full day care?
What are generally the prices?

Yes - there are full day pre-schools / day cares. Depending where you're looking, it can be quite difficult to find one that has space. In Toronto the costs can be $800+ per month. I know several people who are paying $1200 to $1400 per month.

Usually the year they turn 4 is the first year they can attend kindergarten. However this may vary from province to province and you haven't said where you are located. Google "age to start kindergarten" and the name of your province.

Doesn't sound like you looked very hard.

Check this web site:

http://www.cbe.ab.ca/default.asp

They have a calculator that will tell you when your child can start school.

Hi,
I think that 3 or 4 year old kids because in but you should first see or watch younger than your kids before admission because you can understand I can stay your place or you can handle him or not.
