(K-12) English Schools in Montreal

Hi All

Apologies in case this topic has been discussed elsewhere - would appreciate a link to the the discussion.

I landed in Toronto -- but my work may require me to relocate to Montreal.
I have two school going kids - gr 7 and gr 5 - schooling in English in Toronto since we migrated about a year ago.

In case we move to Montreal -- would they be able to attend English speaking schools ??
(I did see an English school board in Quebec).

I am planning to move to Montreal. Can you throw some light on english education based on your experience. My son is studying in 5th std and mid year , he is coming to Canada.

You cannot send your children to an English public school in Quebec unless at least one of the parents has spent the majority of their elementary school years in an English school in Canada. If you want to send your child to an English school in Quebec as an immigrant, you will have to send it to a private school.
