Hi everyone
I am planning to go first with my son as I am the principal applicant. Also i will come back after taking PR cards. can my spouse go after few months? He will be going alone later as he is not getting leave from his work.. I want to make sure that there wont be any problem for him. I have heard that it is possible. I JUST WANT TO BE DOUBLY SURE.
Thanks in advance.

Doc

Hi,

I 'doubly assure' u. It's only that the PA must land 1st, if the family members r not accompanying him/her. Subsequent landings by the members of his/her family has no consequence.

All the best!
Qorax.

That's fine buddy.

As far as Principal applicant go first, and other follows within one year of your medical.

Thanks QORAX and NILSEJ
Actually one of my relative in Canada was insisting that we all have to come together. They asked me to make sure about it. May be there was different rule earlier.
Thanks again!!

Dear Doc28, as qorax advised, there is no problem. It is clearly mentioned in the paper accompanying the Visa. Go ahead... Best of luck

yup - anyone can land first / second - provided all of you have landed and activated permanent residency within a year of your medicals being done...

Dear SD,

Just a small correction to your posting, The Principal applicant MUST ALWAYS land first, but the rest on the application can land anytime after the principal applicant has landed before the visa expires.

Rgds

Max
