Just curious how fast ppl recieved status of medical recieved

We sent our forms in first of june 2016...i recieved a letter from them saying application was recieved and our file has been sent to kingston august 4th....when i checked our online status it claims in process...#1 application recieved june 6th...and then #2 medical recieved....is it usually that quick for medical to go through? I was under the assumption it was in the end of the processing and roughly 3 months after the medical part is the approval stage?
