I applied my mother’s visitor visa on 4 July 2022, Biometric done at 6 July 2022. (Applied from Pakistan)
Still waiting and stuck on background check, no updates yet
Last month my father died and now my mother is alone, nobody is there to take care of her
Should I update my father’s death certificate to IRCC?
Any opinion for my mothers visa ? I am going to file my tax and then i will be eligible to sponsor super visa after tax filling
Pls guys give me opinion, i want my mother with me in canada

Sorry for your loss. If your father was part of the application then yes, cancel his application. It will not change the processing of your mother. If you meet LICO, your mother passes her medical and she has one year of health insurance then file for super visa. She still needs to show ties to home country and travel history.

raise a webform to Abu Dhabi visa office and ask about the status of ur application
u might get to know where ur application stands

My condolences. Raise a Webform and try to raise this. Request them to consider to speed up processing on Humanitarian grounds.
