This is an employment service. They provide a lot of support to their clients, not just job search stuff, but you have to have an interview.

Have you come from the Middle East? The reason I am asking is because people from there are used to relaxed/comfortable life and have jobs handed to them on a golden platter. For survival jobs in Canada you have to go through the process like thousands of people are doing, its all about competition and you'll have to sell yourself. If this means following a long process and waiting for someone to get back to you, so be it. Its life my friend. Dont take it personally but a lot of people coming here dont know how hard it is to get a survival job. Try sites like workopolois, job shark and other local agencies in your area.

Don't just rely on online applications. Go business to business at places like Canadian Tire, Tim Horton's, Home Depot, etc etc. Let them know what you can do. If they say they have nothing ask if you can put an application on file. Try construction and landscaping work as these are seasonal jobs and are just getting busy.
