hi..anybody got invitation or job under NOC 0122 pls let me know..!!
is there any scope under this NOC?

regards

Invitation to apply for permanent residence is sent out on the basis of your CRS score and NOC has no role to play.

With regard to your question for the scope for NOC 0122, please refer to the facts given below.

The Greater Toronto Area is the financial capital of Canada and the third largest financial services centre in North America.

Toronto is home to the vast majority of Canada's largest financial services companies:
- 2 of the largest 10 global life insurers, plus a third with significant operations in Toronto
- 3 of the world's 25 largest banks and Canada's 5 largest banks
- The 3rd largest exchange in North America, and 7th largest in the world
- 3 of the top 50 global pension funds
- 4 of the 5 largest investment management firms in Canada
- 3 of the 4 largest property and casualty insurers in Canada
- Operations of 7 of the top 10 largest global hedge fund administrators
- The financial services sector directly employed 220,000 people in the Greater Toronto Area (2008).
- Including indirect effects, the sector employed a total of 350,000 people, accounting for over 12% of employment in the GTA (2008).
- The financial sector contributed 21.1% of the Toronto Region's GDP, including direct and indirect contributions (2008).
- Financial services companies and their employees accounted for 24% of all corporate fundraising at the Sick Kids Foundation and nearly 40% of all donations to the United Way of Greater Toronto (2008).
- From 2003 to 2008 the financial sector jobs in the Toronto Region grew by 4.3% per annum, contributing an incremental $6.2B in GDP.

Hope the above facts would help you get a picture. Google for jobs in Toronto. All the best!

thanks a lot stanlee for your valuable reply...but my score is below 400 so last options are PNP's and getting job on my own...that's why I asked, if anyone under 400 got any job with NOC 0122?..or canadian employers consider foreign employees to give jobs under this NOC?..if u have any idea..pls tell..

very unlikely unfortunately to get a Canadian employer interested unless someone is actually available in Canada. I have no specific info on this NOC but would think the scope of this NOC even more unlikely an offshore job offer would be made unless maybe at a very senior level but thats just a personal view. Good luck anyway

Getting a job while you are outside Canada is hardly possible, unless you have niche skills and experience and the demand is not met locally in Canada. The closest you can get to get an interview call is once you have landed in Canada.

The best you can do now is to lookout for all the companies which you would like to target, look at their career pages, LinkedIn pages, try to connect with people on LinkedIn, if you have any friends over there, try to see if they can introduce you to someone in their contacts which you can leverage once you land in Canada. Identify important job consultants, whom you can fall back on in case you do not succeed on your own. So once you land in Canada, you will be well equipped.

The best option for your now is to go the PNP way. If you are nominated by a province, you will get 600 points added to your CRS thus making you eligible to receive an invite in the next round of invitation post nomination.
