My husband is going to be in the process of switching to Reg Force in the Canadian Forces Army (he is in reserves right now) and is switching his trade there as well. Should we include a letter in our sponsor application about this? He is going to be moving to a new location in Ontario soon too, will we be able to update the mailing address online after submitting the application?

Yes you can update the mailing address as soon as you get AOR

I knew my job was ending soon when I applied. I told them my ending date and stated I was sure to find a new job soon. I did, but I never updated them with the new job. I got SA.

Thank you :D I suppose they don't mind as much about the exact job with spouse sponsorships

I believe even the option C printout doesn't outline the employer, CIC just asks for employment letter. It won't matter as much to the spouse if information has changed but in case there is an interview of the sponsored person, then they may ask the other person about the job details.

Still, better to update CIC in any case.

It would be the same employer (Canadian Armed Forces), just switching from part time (Army reserves) to full time (Army reg force) and changing his trade and the unit he is with, as well as a pay change, new supervisor and location change a couple times during the training
