I am a foreign citizen (Lebanese) and I was wondering about the job prospects if I get accepted through the express entry process.
Backgroud:
Graduated with a BE in civil engineering in 2016 with distinction from a top 200 university (QS ranking). Uni is also ABEIT accredited so my degree will be recognised by the order of engineers in most of canada.
Master's in engineering management ended last month. Graduated with high distinction.
Worked for 8months at a top 7 design firm (worldwide) while doing my masters.
Untilmately I would like to either work in civil.engineering or in finance as I studied financial engineering during my masters and I really like the topic.
I would like to.know whether I would be able to land a job related to either fields if I land on Canadian soil. I don't want to work as say a waiter forever. I don't mind doing it for a little bit while searching for a job but ultimately I would like to work in what I studied/ worked in.
PS: I am fluent in English, French and Arabic, white (some people said it mattered for some reason)
