how can the canadian government/immigration officers spot a fake job offer? lets say someone in canada made up a job that was in fact fake but was doing it because someone outside outside of canada was willing to pay them good money $$$$$$$ american dollars of course. someone outside of canada was willing to pay easily one million american dollars or more to obtain permanent residency status in canada. the employer in canada was willing to go along with it for the money. what are the countermeasures that the government/immigration officers would use to determine if in fact the job offer was legitimate or not? the employer and the person outside of canada arent dumb just like officials working for the government who are trying to determine if its a real job or not. would the government investigate this like it were marriage fraud? i know marriage fraud is easier to detect than this type of fraud, but how would they go about determining if this was a real job offer? can we compare this to marriage fraud or not in the sense that they have more easier ways to determine if this was a fake job offer i.e. fake marriage? rsvp.
