Hi canadavisa forum!

As we all know we can gain additional points for a job offer. Does it have to be a current job offer or a new one? For example I apply to Express Entry and my current work permit is valid for 5 month more, can I use it or I have to ask my employer for a new one?
 
What kind of work permit do you have? How long have you worked for your employer?
 
You can get a valid job offer with LMIA OR with a LMIA exempt permit which is employer specific (closed work permit) by working for your employer for a year (assuming full-time work experience).

A work permit is not a valid job offer. You can read what a valid job offer is here - it is not the same thing as having a job in Canada.

If you are on an open work permit, your employer would need to apply for an LMIA for you to become eligible.

Does anyone have an idea how to find a job offer for BC Pnp Tech Pilot Visa.
 
hi eveyone, if i have worked for the employer for over a year but in a different job position from the actual one (but still the same employer) does it count?
