Hello,
I am on work permit in canada and want to apply for my pr application. I am a night helper in a department store.
They said they can not change my designation as it needs approval from head office but they are ready to write down job responsibilities of a supervisor in the experience letter as practically I am doing that there. I searched on websites and feel the noc level b will be 6316.
Is it valid ?

Do you supervise people, establish staff work schedules and/or hire and train staff?

Are you paid a salary that is aligned to a supervisor role?

I train, for new hire.
Work scheduling is done by manager, not me.
responsible for making decisions to make the department ready for opening.

What is your hourly wage and which city are you working in?

Minimum and in kitchener

You're being paid minimum wage? $14 / hour?

If so, there is a high chance IRCC will say you cannot be doing the job of a supervisor since your pay is too low. IRCC will say this is a NOC C role.

Yeah, didn’t thought of that.
If they give me supervisor designation with minimum payment, will that work ?

No, it's not guaranteed to work. IRCC may still say they do not believe you are doing the job of a supervisor if you are only being paid minimum wage. You can certainly try. However there is a chance IRCC will say your work experience is NOC C and not NOC B based on your pay.
