Job changes? COPR or PR card?

Hi everybody,
I'm currently on a close work permit, therefore I can't change position in my company.
At what point of the process, we're consider as permanent resident?
Are you able to change job when you get COPR?
Do we have to wait after landing?
Do we have to wait to get the PR card?

Yes, as soon as you complete landing you are good to change your job. You will need to update your SIN too.

I am from a visa exempt country so I won't get PPR
I will directly get COPR by mail.
As soon as I get it, can I just go with COPR and get my new SIN # and then change job?

As soon as you get your corp, finish the landing as a permanent resident and get our sin .. And then change the job

Thanks but the thing is if I do the landing I won't be able to travel outside Canada correct ? I planned a trip in August. That's why I was wondering if the COPR allow me to get a new SIN# and get a new job?

You are not a PR until you land, so you will not be able to obtain a new SIN until you complete your landing. You won't need to wait for your PR card however.
