Job change while application under process

Hello All

My question is : when I submitted my application I was working for employer X, but now I have received a really good job opportunity (NOC code stays same). If I switch foes it affects my application? I was invited under CEC stream and do I have to notify CIC about my occupation change?

Did you claim points for the job under LMIA? If yes, you can't change your job and if you do, you will lose those points. If no, you can change.
