Hello Everyone,

I am just wondering about following statement in Job Banks. I am in Express Entry pool, and the employer sent me an invitation through the portal. However, I am still outside Canada, and legally not authorized yet.

Intended job posting audience
Anyone who can legally work in Canada can apply for this job. If you are not currently authorized to work in Canada, the employer will not consider your job application.


Does the employer already know the situation? Or they sent me because they thought that I am in Canada?

I wondered how this situation would work also.
what is your profession ? Is there a way you can contact the employer to have the conversation?

Yeah, I find it confusing too.
Why would Immigration invite us to use jobbank, if all the jobs there require us to be already "authorized to work in Canada", which we are not.
