No. Your employer still needs a LMIA. Your employer needs to prove no Canadian could be hired. They pay $1000, fill out all the paperwork, show how hiring you will grow their business and then wait months for the LMIA. If successful, then you can apply for a closed work permit. That takes months too. Few employers go through the process.
Are you in senior management/executive or in a technical knowledge position (no Canadian employee can do your job) with this Canadian company? You may be able to look at an Inter Company Transfer. So you can’t apply for a head office job in Canada, but if the company can’t hire anyone in Canada because your skill set is required, you may be eligible.
