Hi,

How long does it take to get an ITA if the crs scores are more than 1000.

When this is for pr visa, how can they reduce the wages by giving it after many years?

Do they compensate for the delay in ITA?

Depends on when the draw happens. What does wages have to do with an ITA? There is no compensation because if you don’t get an ITA, you don’t have enough points. Why would the Canadian government compensate you. That is why you have proof of funds.

What ever required points is 67 and 470+, I have both of them. Wages means, if they give me an ITA at 50 years age with PR, how can I retire? I will have to work till 75 years old.

So if you have 470+ expect an ITA when open draws happen. If you are 50, most likely you don’t have enough points for ITA. Assume you have a masters too. You retire with your own funds. If you are 50, then you want enough funds to move, settle and then think about your retirement goals. You will not have paid into the Canadian pension plan (government) or your work plan long enough to get full benefits.

Some employers have a retirement plan that you can pay into...a defined contribution plan. Assume you have a salary expectation if you are planning on working at the middle or top level.

The draw is based on cut off score. If you meet the cut off score, you are selected. It's an automated draw.
