Hi all,

I recently got married to a PR holder who also has a sibling in Canada. After updating this information, my score bumped up and I received my ITA after going via PNP. Now, I am stuck on one detail.

In the form, my agent has filled spouse as accompanying me to Canada. However, he is in Canada already and a PR holder. What should I do next?

a) Should I modify these details in the 'Modify family information' section and declare spouse as not accompanying?
b) Will I lose some points?

Just feel stuck here and would appreciate your guidance!

Sounds like your agent doesn't know what he/she is doing.

Your spouse already has PR and is not part of your application.

You are not entitled to the sibling points. Yes, you will lose these points.

Are you still above the cut off without the sibling points? If so, you should be fine.

I received a PNP nomination after updating that I am married to a PR holder. So I still have those points.
I was at 458 but after updating my details (married to a PR holder with a PR holder sibling in Canada) I got 15 more points.
After that, I received PNP and then ITA.

You need to provide more information.

Which PNP program did you apply under?

What was the cut off in the EE draw where you received ITA?

You aren't entitled to the 15 sibling points under EE.
