Hello,

I have received an ITA but I am on study permit.

I am waiting for the police report and medical and have other documents ready to be submitted.

I want to know if I can now work full-time? if is there a procedure for it? As in, can i now apply for an open work permit and be on implied status and can i start working full-time?

Please assist. Thank you in advance!

No - you cannot work full time or apply for an open work permit. To qualify for a BOWP (bridging open work permit), you would need to already have a work permit (rather than a study permit).

You'll need to remain a full time student to be able to work part time.

Once you have PR, you'll be able to change over to working full time.
