I have a query concerning my USA tourist visa refusal back in 2011. Should I mention it in my ITA application, and what should I mention in refusal reason.
Please note that neither my passport got stamped with refusal nor did the visa officer told me the refusal reason. Wat I remember, on the date of appointment here in Delhi USA consulate, I visited alone and furnished my originals documents, but the lady visa officer took less than 5 minutes to refuse my application and handed over a brochure containing information on possible reasons of rejection and reapplication process details.
I think the reason was the fact that I was very young and unemployed. I actually applied straight after completing my bachelor degree. But this is my speculation cos I dont know the official refusal reason.
Another point to note is that I had my old passport at that time in 2011, while in 2014 I got new passport with new passport number. So the refusal details wud be saved in database with my old passport number.
But I dont want to risk my ITA application due to misrepresentation, So I look forward to your suggestion, especially on the matter of refusal reason, what shall I mention in the reason for refusal ?
