I was wondering about entering my Family information.

My parent's First Name should be same as it is written in my passport or should be same as it is written in their passport?

I have to fill at two places.

1) Personal Details in Express Entry profile
2) Schedule A Background/Declaration

Please guide me.

You will upload your passport so it makes sense to write whatever is on your passport.

Is should same as mentioned on there passports. In case your parents name is bit different on your passport then you can submit "one and same person" affidavit.

In my case there was a minor mistake in mother but my mothers name was correct on my brothers passport. So i enter the name which is correct and submitted one and same person affidavit and explained the situation in Letter of Explanation.

In case they ask for any document in future or in case the name mismatch with any other document, wouldnt it be misrepresentation ? In my case i have to prove relationship with my brother so i explained the minor difference in mothers name.
