i am about to apply for PR under CEC but having issue with my NOC. i will appreciate if anyone could help me out. below are my duties and responsibilities.
Support Virtual Cloud computing services: VMware, Linux, Storage solutions, Windows, Solaris,along with basic networking support for the cloud.
• Contingency planning. task scheduling, documenting, application upgrades and communications.
Work performed on these daily activities with the immediate lab team and global, cross-groups
• Configure, and support VM cloud installations. Virtual Computing VCP-4 and/or VCP-5
• Kick-start and support of Linux based operating systems.
• Setup, reconfigure, and test physical network topologies
• Diagnose and repair network problems
• Perform tasks as directed using the Lab Case Management Tools and as directed by the lab
management team
• Plan, set-up and conduct NOSTG pilot tests for Device Monitoring System (DMS). the 2nd
generation UPM tool
• Analyze test data, and enter defects and enhancement requests in RALLY
• Support defect resolution by the DMS developers through in-lab investigations to root-cause problem
• Validate code fixes and enhancements to DMS in customer pilot environment Support deployment
of DMS Release 1.0 once pilot testing is complete
