Issue with Name in Passport

Hi All,
I have tried to search this information on this website and also on internet, but haven't got concrete answer.

My passport has my Given name only as "Amit" and doesn't include my Middle Name. Hence, my full name as per passport would be FirstName LastName.
But, all my documents - right from government IDs to academic docs, have Middle Name and hence as per those my full name would be FirstName MiddleName LastName.

My question is:
Can go ahead with this passport itself and it won't be problem for me?
OR
Shall I go ahead and apply for change of name in passport? Also in this case, as my name hasn't actually changed in reality, do I need to mention old and current name wherever asked in profile creation?

You just need to create an affidavit claiming both names belong to you.

Go ahead with this passport. Shouldn't be a problem.

However, list down all the names that are present in the various IDs, documents, etc., and also get the list of names notarized. Additionally, mention the same in the LOE.

@santosh3086 @turb Thanks, I will get the affidavit done and notarized.
But, which name should I use as Given name while registering for IELTS and mainly in Express Entry profile - would it be better to go with Given Name as just "Amit" which is as per passport?

I would suggest you to go as per your name in the passport.

@turb Yes I will go with Passport name only as British Council page for ILETS registration is asking Passport as identification document, so better will go with Passport name. Thanks again.
