Hi everyone,
I have a few questions:
Some information about me:
I work full-time in sales right now. I live in Canada, but I lived in another country (other than my home country) for over a decade, where I studied and taught.
Thanks.
I have a few questions:
- I received an ITA through the new education policy. I have extensive experience in education, but I’m not sure it’s the path I want to follow long-term. Do I need to state definitively that I plan to teach in order to be accepted?
- I entered the wrong dates for one of my jobs. The verification letter I have shows August 2018 for 10 months, but I put January 2018 to January 2019 in my profile. How should I address this discrepancy?
- One of the jobs in my Express Entry profile was part-time, yet I worked there for over five years. The employer refuses to issue a verification letter for part-time roles. In their email, they said they “Unfortunately, since your current position with our company is on a part-time basis, we are unable to issue a formal letter of employment.” which seems to be a misunderstanding due to language barrier. What’s the best way to handle this?
