Hi,

I'm a govt employee and my previous passport was an official passport and currently in my employer's custody. I have got the copies of those pages of my previous passport which have some exit/entry stamps, visa stamps and the biographical pages of passport.

I'm anticipating an Ontario PT soon, but I have just seen in the Ontario human capital stream guide booklet that I need to send copies of ALL pages of my current and previous passport including the BLANK pages.

As I don't have my previous passport with me, I'm afraid I will not be able to send them the copy of all pages of my previous passport.

Does that mean my application will be incomplete and will be returned to me? or there is a chance that they accept my application if I provide them some explanation?

Most likely they will have have issue with not submitting the copies of passport. The explanation is a 50/50 chance of success and failure. If you can afford to place a bet of 1500 dollars, go for it and you might get through.

You only have to send copy of your previous PP if your new pp is less than 2 years old

Thank you both for reply.

@Stanger: I have copies of 22 pages of my old passport. I just don't have copies of last 14 pages, which are blank pages. Don't you think if it is not sufficient, they will not give me an AOR and return my application? If that is the case, I'll not be charged $1500?? What do you think?

@rafzy

Yeah, my new passport is less than 2 years old. My previous passport expired in January 2015 and I got my new passport in November 2015. So as per their guide, I'll have to submit the copies of all pages of old passport.

Is there anyone who didn't submit the copies of all pages of previous/current passport and got nominated by Ontario??

Once you submit $1500 fee. It's gone, non-refundable. Only scenario when the fee is returned is - if they find the application incomplete at the time of submission and return the complete package. (Some users on the forum claim to have haggled with OINP folks on phone and have managed to get refund under some scenarios but looks to me that it's highly rare ).

If your new passport was issued MORE than 2 years ago, Suggest you submit whatever pages of old passport you have. Because , as per the manual, old passport pages are not needed, so whatever pages you are submitting is in-addition to what they are asking.

If your new passport was issued LESS than 2 years ago, then submission of old passport copy is a requirement. You may submit whatever pages you have but IF they ask for complete copy of old passport and you cannot arrange then you can submit a LoE detailing your problem. They may or may not accept your LoE and then your $1500 will be in soup.

Take your call.

Thanks All

I managed to get the copies of remaining pages of my old passport yesterday :D

Received a PT from Ontario today. Will apply soon
