Is US Dollar Accepted as Proof of Fund at POE?

I just want to know that whether US Dollar is accepted as POF at POE or not?
Plz Give inputs....

Do you mean, cash?

In general, your proof of funds (e.g. bank statements) can be in US dollars, you will need to know the current exchange rate and show the value in Canadian dollars...

As long as the funds in any currecny once converted equals or is more of the minimum requirement, you will be fine. However it is recommended that you show funds, in US$, CAD$, EUR, or in Pounds.. global currencies..

US Dollar is now almost equal to CAD and only very little difference. There is no problem for US currency cash or Travellers cheque.

of course US Dollars are fine

In Canada I have spent USA dollars in retail shops, and when I handed over them to them, they didnt even make any reaction as if US dollar was their ow currency. Canadian Cash registers have built in USD to CAD converters.
