If someone applied for PR under a single marital status. And they received the ITA and submitted their eAPR and now their documents are queued for review, while they are still single. Then they got married, it did not work out, and got divorced.

What action should be taken? Do they need to inform the authorities that they are divorced now and not single?

It seems like nothing has changed much, they are still going to immigrate on their own, they do not wish to add a spouse to the application, and they did not initially earn any points based on a spouse.

Thanks

I would say conditions have changed. They are divorced now instead of never married.

Well yea of course, something has changed. But what are the implications? And what should they do?
If I were in that situation, I would report. It falls under misrepresentation if not reported.

Yea I agree that it should be reported, but I wonder of the implication. Especially that never married/single and divorced get awarded the same points.
