Sponsor and Principal applicant live exclusively outside of Canada.
Sponsor had opened a bank account in Canada on her trip to Canada 4 years ago. It was a Daily checking account and had a monthly fee. she deposited money in it.. and over the years we forgot about it. The monthly fee kept on deducting to the point of eating up the entire deposit and even going further to create a negative balance (because of the monthly fee). They first made the account dormant and then they just cancelled the account. I think it was 25-50 dollars in the negative because of the monthly fee when they cancelled it.
My Question: Does this make the Sponsor "undischarged bankrupt under the Bankruptcy and Insolvency Act"?
