I was thinking of doing something like this.

I am a PR .I will get married soon in india. and i will have proper marriage certificate. so i was thinking of asking ma fiance to apply fr a visitor's visa after marriage. then apply to delhi office after we land canada.

or is there any easier/better way to do this ??

hey firts of all my COngrats to you upon getting married.

Here is a questions from my side: -> Are you currently in india or in canada ?

Its very tough to get a visitor visa before marriage(as they feel unmarried females are a threat to their country and they will not return to their home country upon visa expiry) and also after marriage since u r a PR, CIC will not issue a visitor visa to ur wife as they think that she may get settled with you upon visa expiry eventhough u show enough proofs that she will return to India at the end of her visa.

So only way is to apply for PR (Outland). After your marriage once u return to canada, send ur papers immediately to CIC mississauga without any delay. For that u need to have everything handy before ur marriage as u won't find time to get ur work done after ur marriage.

-> PCC is one big headache in India to get. Ask your fiancee to apply for PCC at commissioner office before your marriage.

-> Marriage certificate obviously you'll get it after ur marriage.

-> Take a copy of your applications and write the information before you go for the original version. You both have to sit together and work out for completing your application. I am saying this out of my experience as i faced lot of difficulties in filling my application as my husband was in canada n myself in india while filling up the same.

-> Before sending your application pay ur entire fee i.e CAD1040.

-> Get her medicals done couple of days before u leave to canada.

-> Take everything with u. All applications, identity documents, supporting documents, immigration pics, photograph proofs, phone bills( if available), chats, emails, skype logs(if available).

-> Most important thing is signing the application. Please read the instructions minimum 4-5 times and spen maximum time going through the applications as even a small mistake in application may result in returning the package.

Hope this information is helpful to you.

Good Luck and Wishing u a very happy and god blessed married life.

A pR can not apply for their spouse while the PR is out of Canada you must be in Canada and stay in Canada during the whole process.Your wife getting a Visit visa is up to the IO looking over the app only he knows if she will get it.If she does and comes here once she is here and you are married you can apply for her.Outland through ND is a lot faster than inland in Canada though.
