Have your receipt (u got it when u applied and agent gave it to you) and CALL them:

I did it right at the passport office and they put all my data directly into the computer. It took a week for the passport to arrive.
If you go to the passport office directly you can be sure that all is in order.

I recommend to apply at a Passport Canada office. It’s fast and straightforward.
I applied for my first Canadian passport on Friday April 27th, 3 business days after my citizenship ceremony at Surrey Passport office.
I spent less than 15 min for the whole process. I applied for the 10 years one.
The receipt given to me said the passport should be mailed out on May 11.
I applied to access the application status online but I actually realized it was useless since it’s a very short process.
