It does not mater where you are.
If you have started your application outside Canada, processing time will depend on the center where you have applied.
Check their site for details.

Be patient. When the status is in progress, keep on checking the detailed status. They will keep the status as In Progress till they decide on your application. Also if i am correct, they update the status every tuesday in their website...

also in AOR letter dated 20-7-2011 they said if you didn't hear anything from us within 8 month contact this office
