My girlfriend and I would really like to move to Canada one day. After reading the skilled worker occupations though I'm not sure if it's something that we could ever do. We're both from the UK. My girlfriend graduated uni with a Double Honors Bachelors Degree in English and History. I'm currently studying towards a Chemistry Degree and will likely go on to do a Masters. We both have useless jobs at the moment though. Neither of us have any Canadian family. Would we just have to hope we could find a job in Canada and then apply? Is there anything we could be doing now that would help our chances in a few years?
