Is there a wait time between marrying & PR application?

I've been with my fiancee for over 3 years and we are marrying this July. We are planning on applying for PR within a month after we get married.
How long do people usually wait once they are married to apply for PR? We have been saving up money for our wedding and now they we can finally get married we don't want to waste any more time in applying for the PR!

There's no reason to delay as long as you can demonstrate that the relationship between you is well established and ongoing.

You can apply even the day after your marriage (if you can get a marriage certificate that fast). As long as it's not a case where you meet two weeks ago and got married, or got married the first time you met. In your case, you can submit right after you get married. We applied a month after.

Agreed - no reason to wait. Just make sure you have a complete application!

there is no wait time.. if you are done with your application just send it in..
(doesnt matter if its after a week of your marriage or month or two)
we sent ours after a month.
