just curious?
how many people actually apply?

not that I know of personally there is some staticis but there like from 2008, but I do like the info on Track-it, you can look at other cases that are being processed by your office;

http://www.trackitt.com/canada-immigration-trackers/family-class

Maybe you should ask people what office they are going through and we can all contribute to make a table for it.
I don't know if that sounds like a good idea or not but I thought I would suggest it. 8)

do it up love young!

mine is buenos aires spouse

You can look at each month thread and everyone has their office listed there ;D

Well do you just want to know the office of just those that have landed? Or does it matter if it has been refused or still in process?
Want to make sure I do a good job.

Maybe you should change the topic title so we can get more people to list their offices. I will start writing them down. ;)

you can do it all change it -- start a new thread if you want :)

here this is will give you some info http://www.cic.gc.ca/english/resources/statistics/facts2009/index.asp

Not to be demanding (since I'm not the one volunteering to actually put the chart together) but would be great to have a chart of what visa office and then the date the began processing and - once a decision is recieved - how many weeks the entire process took and whether they were approved or rejected. Would be nice for future forum visitors to be able to look back over the past year or two of applicants and get an idea of timelines (especially for some of the less frequented visa offices).

I have no idea what the capabilities of these forums are but is there no way to get that done up automatically from the profile information? Then there wouldn't have to be someone updating it all the time.

If you have a neater way of doing it and being able to fit in all of that than please do it.
The reason I didn't, is because for one, it will take quite a while to update as it is and plus it wouldn't fill that information in there neatly. But yes it would be nice to have that. Maybe a google spreadsheet?

Already done with search capabilities through www.trackitt.com. You can search by visa office, type of case, date, etc.

If you really really want to know, you make an access request to CIC. No. of PR visas (category FSW/Spousal whatever) issued by year by individual overseas office.

Start here:

Additional statistical tables are available in CD format upon request to research-recherche@cic.gc.ca. These tables, on the permanent and temporary resident streams, provide more detailed information on applications received, application outcomes, visas issued, processing times, inventory at selection and final decision stages, entries of temporary residents and immigration of permanent residents.

Hi PMM,

Is that the same data as what Lexbase provides? I thought he did it through FOI's because he does so many but this sounds easier. Do you have a link that will take you to these instructions?

research-recherche @ cic.gc.ca is the email address to request the stats, for the access request see:http://www.cic.gc.ca/english/department/atip/requests-atip.asp

For statistics related to immigration, please contact:

Tel.: (613) 952-2359
Fax: (613) 960-7647
E-mail: statistics-statistiques@cic.gc.ca

Thanks PPM and rjessome

Sounds like would also be useful to encourage everyone to register on trackitt.com so it has as complete details as possible.
