Hi Everyone,
I am an international student in BC and will be graduating in April 2022. I plan on applying for a PGWP and had a quick question.
Since I came to Canada in Sep 2019, I have had a total of 9 jobs so far. Out of these 9 jobs one was a full time co-op for 8 months, while the rest were part time jobs at restaurants/coffee shops etc. I have never worked over 20 hours a week in my part time jobs but have had two jobs at the same time in the past (never worked over 20 hours combined though). I had to leave some part time jobs due to COVID and due to moves within BC cause of my co-op. As a result I have had a total of 8 part time jobs.
I was wondering if this will have any impact on my PGWP application? I have gotten good grades at university so far and have maintained my full time student status throughout. I am worried that the visa officers will see that I had so many part time jobs though as a student and that may negatively harm my application. Is there any possibility of that happening?
Would appreciate any feedback or insight you guys may have.
Thank you!
