Is there a level CLB 10 & above?

Guys,

While calculating points, the CIC site says CLB 9 & above.
Can we go ahead and calculate CLB 10 as per IELTS Essentials web site if we meet the criteria??
 
I would rather that you stick to what is mentioned on the CIC website. The gazette issued by the department of citizenship and immigration issued on 01 Dec 2014 should be your guide for calculating points for EE.

Since CLB is officially a on 12-level scale (according to Wikipedia), we can make some inferences.

Listening:
CLB9 = IELTS 8.0, thus IELTS 8.5 is almost surely CLB10, because 8->9->9->9 does not make a lot of sense.

Reading, writing and speaking:
CLB9 = IELTS 7.0, thus IELTS 8.0 should be the safe boundary for CLB10, because 7->8.5->9->9 does not make a lot of sense.
The battle will be between IELTS 7.5 and 8.0, so if 8.0 or above for R/W/S it should be safely CLB10.

You are asking if there is a CLB level 10 or above. While in the spreadsheet you have mentioned your language points as 103. Seems strange

What is strange about it?
I have calculated it as CLB 9 for now although the suggested sites say it falls under CLB 10.
I would rather calculate a points less and than over claiming the points and get the invite.
 
I cannot imagine CIC will let you enter CLB10 but without specifying what CLB10 would be...
A more reasonable way is they will let you key in the original IELTS scores and they will do the conversion.
 
Bump this thread because this sounds to me the only meaningful question to ask before Jan.1...
CLB 9/10 difference can affect CRS score by up to 12 points...
 
Confirmed:
CIC converts IELTS to CLB 10 by standards published on ieltsessentials.
