So my boyfriend lives in america, & right now he is living with his parents & all his brothers & sisters, & they are all treated like slaves & not able to do anything. He is 19, so he is considered an adult, although he can't do anything bout his situation at all, due to being controlled. Once he comes back to visit me, we are going to get married, & I am going to sponsor him.

But am just wondering if the process is slightly different or the same. Or if there is anybody I could possibly talk to bout it.

Thanks xx. Any feedback would be helpful.

The process is the same. His home situation doesn't change the process or processing times.

The process is exactly the same. As you point out, he is an adult, so if he's able to leave that abusive situation to move to Canada, he's able to leave that abusive situation to elsewhere within the USA.
