is the timeline normal?

at around 4 and a half months after they received our application and 2 months after we got PER and we have NO news. We are still "in process" and the latest update is "we received your application...".

Is this normal? when should we expect news?

I know I am a different Visa office from you but it took from May until January for us to receive further news from our PER.
Any Rome applicants like to reply?

aren't you in a different year though? As i know after July applicants have a totally different set of rules, timelines etc

ahhhhhhhhh should have read your time line through twice LOL
I am on the same rules as you as I applied after July 2010 but maybe a polite email to the VO wouldn't do any harm.
