IS THE CHANGE IN VISA OFFICE ALLOWED WHILE THE PROCESSING OF PAPERS IS ONGOING?

I am from Philippines and working here in Saudi Arabia. My wife is a Canadian living in Canada. We passed our application June 1, 2012. We are still waiting for the 93 days processing before the notification from CIC. My visa office I wrote in the application is ABU DHABI since I am here working in Saudi Arabia.
Hope someone could help me. Thank you!

CIC will only move an application to another office in order to protect the integrity of the processing. And, no, you can't request they do so, it is something they decide for themselves.
